Treatment of Children with Moderate Acute Malnutrition: The program focuses on identifying and treating children with moderate acute malnutrition (MAM). This involves providing specialized therapeutic foods and nutritional supplements to improve their nutritional status and prevent the development of severe acute malnutrition (SAM). Provision of Life-Saving Treatment for Acute Malnutrition: Children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM) receive life-saving treatment through Outpatient Therapeutic Program (OTP), and Stabilization Center (SC). These programs provide therapeutic foods, medical care, and monitoring to ensure the recovery of children with SAM.

Management of Acute Malnutrition: The program provides comprehensive management of acute malnutrition, including regular monitoring of weight and height, nutritional counseling for caregivers, and medical interventions as needed. This holistic approach ensures the well-being and recovery of malnourished children

Sectoral Integration: To maximize impact, the program integrates with other relevant sectors and services, such as health, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), food security, and protection. This integration ensures a coordinated and comprehensive response to address the underlying causes of malnutrition and improve overall child well-being.
