Who We Are
Mandhere Relief and Development Organization (MARDO) is a local Non Governmental Organization based in South Central Somalia providing life-saving interventions to address humanitarian needs.
The main areas of operation include Food-Security, Agriculture/Livelihood, Health, Nutrition, Water/sanitation and Hygiene promotion and continue to focus on similar priority area such as Education Child protection and emergency projects in the area of the South West and Jubaland States of South Central of Somalia.
MARDO aims to collaborate and provide assistance in all relevant sectors. Some of the key sectors focused by MARDO include: Emergency relief, response and preparedness; Food security and Livelihood support; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; Health and Nutrition; Education; HIV/AIDS Awareness; Peace Building and Good Governance; Gender Based Violence (GBV) awareness and case management; Reproduction health programme and Child Protection
